Abstract

This text derives from the research-creation project submitted to the Doctorate in Digital Media-Art. The research presents the development of an artivist training proposal that addresses the creation of hybrid visual artefacts linked to the promotion of literacy and tactical media. To this end, digital visual culture is conceptually based on maker culture, a post-qualitative action research approach was developed with students in the disciplines: innovation with digital technologies and school culture, a questionnaire is used to evaluate the training proposal and groups of discussion based on an open coding matrix and the use of open-source qualitative analysis tools. The results show the expansion of the educommunicative act to create cybercitizens at the same time, which proves the appropriation of literacy to combat digital exclusion. As a result of the work carried out, a videoart is co-created and presented in the collective exhibition Rizoma, which addresses creation in digital media art in the municipal chamber of Loulé, Portugal.
